Salvia nemorosa 'Caradonna'
Sage-MeadowSalvia nemorosa 'Caradonna'
Sage-MeadowThis popular selection is prized for its tall, indigo purple flower spikes which are held on dramatic deep purple stems. Grower Information
Salvia is an excellent crop for late spring to early summer sales. Plant the plugs in spring and grow them under poly to protect against excessive spring rains. The crop will grow best in moist, well-drained soil and does not tolerate overly moist or wet conditions which promote crown and root rots. Once established, finish with average to dry moisture levels. Removing spent flowers will encourage a longer season of bloom.
