Our top-selling tall phlox. A highly sought-after selection prized for its exemplary resistance to powdery mildew and magnetic attraction for pollinators. Individual florets are smaller than average, but form sizable 6", fragrant, lavender pink clusters. This tall, vigorous selection is best for the middle to rear of the border.

Grower Information

  • Take care not to plant too deeply
  • Best in 1-gal containers
  • Moist, well-drained soil with a 6-6.5 pH
  • Pinch plants prior to or shortly after planting
  • Follow an average watering regime
  • PGR rates to achieve sufficient control are higher on Phlox; begin applications early in the crop cycle

Pot by mid-spring to make sure plants are well-rooted before summer. Grow with a medium EC to minimize rapid growth and long internodes. Cut plants back to promote lateral branching or use PGRs to control height.
