Phlox paniculata Coral Crème Drop ('Ditomdre' PP20907)

Phlox-Tall Garden

Dutch breeding brings us this series of highly mildew resistant phlox with large, fragrant, glowing coral pink flowers with a hot pink halo around the throat of each bloom. It has an ideal habit for containers and gardens. Compact, upright plants have strong, well-branched stems that hold up well for growers and retailers and don't need staking in the garden. Vividly colored, fragrant flowers pack loads of impulse appeal for shoppers and pollinators alike. Introduced by: Plants Nouveau.

  • Pinch plants prior to or shortly after planting
  • Follow an average watering regime
  • PGR rates to achieve sufficient control are higher on Phlox; begin applications early in the crop cycle

Pot by mid-spring to make sure plants are well-rooted before summer. Grow with a medium EC to minimize rapid growth and long internodes. Cut plants back to promote lateral branching or use PGRs to control height.
