This long blooming, native wildflower is ideal for welcoming songbirds and pollinators into prairie style gardens and meadows. A profusion of bright golden yellow, 2-3Ó round flowers appear on tall stems that sway gracefully in the breeze. Though short-lived, it will reseed. This species thrives in heavy, moist soils including alkaline clay.
