Geranium maculatum

Geranium-Wild

An essential spring bloomer for native gardens, this species thrives in shade and moist soil, where it spreads to form small colonies. Pink to lilac flowers which attract several types of native bees bloom for nearly two months. Shearing back after flowering promotes fresh growth. Keep plants from getting too dry as this may cause the foliage to decline.
