This chance seedling of C. tripteris x C. verticillata was a star in Mt. Cuba Center's trials, blooming up to 18 weeks from summer into fall. Masses of golden blooms appear on tall, sturdy stems lined with green, threadleaf, mildew resistant foliage. Nativar. Height reflects size in trials; some report it to be shorter. Grower Information

Coreopsis is a spring planted crop but it requires some heat and light to break dormancy. While dormant, keep them on the dry side until they begin to leaf out, then provide average moisture once they are actively growing. Though each cultivar varies in height, it is best to pinch them all 1-2 times to promote branching. Plants can be sheared in production to stage crops for incremental sales.
