An essential foundation plant for shade gardens, this woodland perennial is grown as much for its bold textured, sycamore-shaped leaves as its late blooming, buttery yellow, bell-shaped flowers. Fills a pot completely with its shrubby form. Rarely bothered by pests, diseases or deer, it is an excellent performer in rich, moist soils.
