Native to eastern North America, this eye-catching wildflower produces bright red and yellow, nodding, spurred blossoms on tall stems beginning in mid-spring. One of the first nectar sources for pollinators and hummingbirds. Displays good resistance to leaf miner and is adaptable to a wide range of soil types.
