This distinctive, in-demand native wildflower is revered for its long lasting, silky pink seed heads which follow the nodding, pink, bell-shaped flowers. Red fall foliage color is an added bonus. When allowed to spread like a groundcover, it appears like a pink cloud hugging the earth. Grows best in dry, rocky or sandy soil that is well-drained.
