This early blooming native wildflower provides an early food source for pollinators, bearing clusters of starry yellow flowers on tall stems above the basal, semi-evergreen foliage. While rounded, green leaves hug the ground, ferny leaves clasp the stems near the blooms. Best when allowed to naturalize. Thrives in alkaline clay.
