Sage-Autumn

Masses of hot pink to coral pink flowers appear nonstop for several months, attracting all sorts of pollinators. Glossy green, aromatic foliage forms a sizeable, well-branched mass that is best suited to the middle of the border and pairs well with coneflowers and grasses. Thrives in heat and humidity.

Grower Information

Salvia is an excellent crop for late spring to early summer sales. Plant the plugs in spring and grow them under poly to protect against excessive spring rains. The crop will grow best in moist, well-drained soil and does not tolerate overly moist or wet conditions which promote crown and root rots. Once established, finish with average to dry moisture levels. Removing spent flowers will encourage a longer season of bloom.
