Black Mondo Grass

One of the darkest perennials in existence, this modern grass-like plant features narrow, deep purple to licorice black foliage that spreads slowly to form a thick groundcover or edging. Pale pink, bell-shaped flowers are followed by shiny, deep purple berries in fall. Evergreen in warmer zones; adaptable as a houseplant.
