Plant Description

A good groundcover providing late summer interest, when other perennials are through blooming. Brilliant blue flowers appear mid summer and continue until frost. Foliage turns bronzy-red in the fall. Interplant with spring bulbs as foliage emerges late, just as bulb foliage is dying back. Does best in rich, well-drained, acidic soil.
