A rare color seen in the late summer landscape, this durable, drought tolerant gentian produces intense blue-violet flowers at the nodes up its sturdy stems. Its glossy, green, clumping foliage remains attractive all season.  Not fussy like some gentians; easy to grow in well-drained soils.
